Lisa Edelstein was an American actress who is best known for her role as the main character of Fox's House medical drama. At the age of 18 years old, Lisa relocated into New York City from Wayne where she was raised according to traditional Jewish customs. She was very active in the clubs in New York City, and made enough noise to be recognized from the news media. While doing so she began to become aware of AIDS its devastating consequences. She then merged her talents and fame her writing skills and composition abilities in the production of a play titled Positive Me. Awake the Wild Side, a show that she was host for MTV quickly became her new assignment. Once Awake on the Wild Side had stopped running, she started acting in movies and on television, initially in small parts. As time went on, her work in acting grew.
