Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on the 28th of October 1967, in Atlanta. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer was one of the first Roberts to settle in Atlanta. Her father was a young man when he was interested in theatre. As a student of Emory University in 1952 he acted in productions on campus and in Atlanta. While stationed at Biloxi Mississippi, he was commissioned into the air force in 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was also in the production. The two married in 1955, and their first son Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter was enrolled in Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In the year 1957, they left the airforce and Walter started his education at Tulane University. Walter was employed by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. The family moved in 1960 and moved in Decatur Georgia. Walter and Betty Lou produced a Saturday matinee local TV show for children named Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. It was a venture they self-financed. They also founded the Actors and Writers Workshop in the same year, which lasted 6 years. They welcomed in 1965 two more children into their lives: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
